Neeti Sarkar

Founder & Therapist

Neeti Sarkar is a professional counsellor and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience. She holds a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology, is a certified CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Practitioner (Endorphin Corporation, India), Level 1 EFIT (Emotionally Focussed Individual Therapy) Practitioner (ICEEFT, USA), and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Evergreen Certifications, USA).

She works extensively with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, creating a setting that is safe and non-judgmental. Neeti’s integrative approach to therapy ensures she can support clients dealing with anxiety, stress, emotional and behavioural concerns, grief and loss, trauma from adverse childhood experiences, and relational and family conflicts. She believes that to grow through what you’re going through, you’ve got to sit with it.

As someone who advocates for those on the sidelines, Neeti’s vast experience and internationally accredited trainings as Designated Child Protection Officer and member of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee at her previous places of employment, have seen her efficiently handle complex and intricate cases that have also required her legal acumen.

Drawing from her training and proficiency in counselling, SEL (Social and Emotional) education, and child safeguarding, Neeti has hosted several trainings and workshops for different stakeholders. â€‹In addition to her experience and expertise in counselling and psychotherapy, Neeti is a professional lifestyle journalist and uses her craft of writing to create awareness on mental health, parenting, child psychology, and holistic well-being, among other topics.

Hiran Sarkar 

Consultant Therapist

Hiran Sarkar comes with over 35 years of experience as a Marriage & Family Therapist. Recognised as a Professional Clinical Member & Licensed Pastoral Counselor by the National Christian Counselors' Association (NCCA), USA, he has been a pioneer and advocate for mental health in India at a time when therapy and counselling were still at a nascent stage here.

Best known for his calm demeanour, empathetic nature, and for being highly proficient in working with individuals, couples, and families, he has helped over 1500+ clients battling issues that range from but are not limited to workplace stress, depression, substance abuse, relationship dysfunction, marital discord, divorce, parental power struggles, family readjustments, trauma, and suicidal tendencies.​ Hiran’s approach to therapy is person-centered. He uses largely uses Transactional Analysis and Temperament Therapy in his work.

As a family therapist, he emphasises the importance of having a community to heal in. “If by the crowd they are broken, it is by the crowd they will be healed,” he believes. Apart from counselling couples and families, he also hosts workshops for parents, caregivers, teachers, and clergy. Over the years, he’s also taught counselling as a subject at various academic institutions.
